Artist Statement
I explore the fragile boundaries between the body and its exterior environment by creating work that suggests both interior body spaces and exterior landscape. Working between two and three dimensions, I strive to reconcile the physical body with intellectual and spiritual experience. My process-oriented methods are an attempt to connect with the intuitive knowledge of the body, to challenge my own acceptance of chaos vs. order, and to investigate the mystery and complexity of microscopic and cosmic spaces.
